We are proud to announce that Alison (with Victor on guitar) has been added as a featured artist to the JCCSF’s Downtown Seder event, produced by City Winery and Michael Dorf. This is the Downtown Seder’s first time in San Francisco, but has been running in New York for 13 years, featuring such performers as Lou Reed, Lewis Black, Al Franken, Philip Glass and Jerry Stiller. Alison will be accompanied by Victor on guitar (hence, an unofficial McCabe gig!), and Jody Richardson on fiddle, performing her reworking of the song “Tradition” from Fiddler on the Roof. To see the video of the song, which was commissioned by 3200 Stories and the Contemporary Jewish Museum for their Break/Tradition project, click HERE. For advance tickets to the Downtown Seder, find them HERE.
